As a management platform, the Tracker allows you to control and administer all your on-site equipment from one access point. Utilising a Linux based OS, the Tracker is ideally suited as a remote management system for demanding service environments. The real power of the Tracker platform is its versatility, which comes from a structured application development programme. Applications can be developed by us, by you or by a Data Track Development Partner. The Tracker is capable of simultaneously performing different services or tasks for any device connected via its serial, modem, Ethernet and digital I/O connectivity options. Why clutter up the server room with different boxes for different equipment, when one box can provide all the functionality you need. Why You Should Use A TrackerSecure: The Tracker features permission based usernames/passwords, auditing, a packet filtering firewall and encrypted tunnel connections. Dial-up access uses restricted answering and two factor authentication. Some Trackers have been security approved by the US and UK Governments. Custom Applications: Run off the shelf applications on the Tracker or write your own to tailor the solution to your own needs and requirements. Single box solution: With integrated modems, network adaptors, serial ports and digital contacts all in one box, the Tracker provides a powerful one-box solution for your remote management service. Low power consumption: Without any need for fans or special ventilation the Tracker runs cool to the touch. This translates to improved reliability and minimal environmental impact. No moving parts: The Tracker will deliver a reliable service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for many years, without requiring maintenance. High capacity storage: Support for integrated Compact Flash (solid state disk) modules of up to 2Gb. You can collect and store data, local backups or complete boot images on site, safe in the knowledge that it will be there when you need it. Integrated UPS option: As a critical part of your communications infrastructure, the Tracker will continue to provide access and control for your systems for up to 4 hours after power loss. The Tracker 2720 & 2730 are modems that feature a secure encrypted challenge/response mechanism. The Tracker 2740 series can be used as an intelligent application platform but has fixed levels of connectivity. The Tracker 2750 is for those customers that need the ability to swap and change the configuration of the Tracker in the field. We are also able to develop additional modules for the Tracker 2750 if you have more specialised requirements.
