More Information

You can use the Tracker 211Tracker 220 panel meters in environments requiring digital temperature gauges and the Tracker 300 series of PID controllers for behind panel systems. You can specify any of these products for a wide variety of temperature measurement applications, with results available in °C, °F or Kelvin (Absolute). In applications where non-linearising temperature transmitters are used, a Tracker can linearise the 4-20 mA signal received to the thermocouple curve. Where accuracy is vital to an application, a Tracker can be calibration-matched to the output of the actual sensor to be used, thus removing most system measurement errors.

Plant shut downs can be time consuming and expensive. The Tracker 331 and Tracker 332 PID temperature controllers enable you to plan for more effective maintenance by monitoring thermocouple ageing and the health of electrical loads. The Tracker 331 or Tracker 332 will send an alarm if the thermocouple shows signs of deterioration and needs replacing. Removing the thermocouple from the furnace, for example, can then be done alongside other maintenance tasks, rather than waiting for the failure to occur while the furnace is in full production.

Checks are also made for partial load failure or other problems such as SSR half wave faults, short and open circuits. When maintenance operations are scheduled, you can use the information provided by the Tracker to decide which components you should replace.
